8 Exciting Weeks to Raise your Consciousness
Are you spiritually fit? How honest are you about your real feelings, fears and dreams? How free are you – how much of your life is your own? How wise are you – are you learning as you go? How at peace are you – how easily can you find your center no matter what?
On January 5th, we will begin a new class called Spiritual Fitness . This class is based on the book of the same title by Caroline Reynolds. The purpose of this class is to give you the tools to live your best life. It enables you to gain a higher perspective, find the lessons and gifts in everything, accelerate your growth and deepen your wisdom.
Our 8 week class will help you to chart your progress through life and will guide you in your never ending cycles of growth. Just like physical fitness, no matter how many spiritual ’exercises’ we’ve done, maintaining our inner well-being needs our ongoing exercise, focus and commitment. We have to practice our principles over and over as we are tested at constantly deeper levels. By reminding us to be our authentic, powerful selves and to trust, Spiritual Fitness leads us to triumph in all areas.
Overview of the Spiritual Fitness Class
After Week 1 where we which is an introduction and course overview of what we will be working with during our time together the following weeks will cover:
How can you open up to even more of your greatness? What fears are stopping you? How to find an inspiring motivation.
The detoxifying power of self-love and forgiveness. Understand & honor your sensitivity. Create new, empowering beliefs.
Realize the bio-chemical effect of words on your mind and body. Avoid negative self-talk and gossip. Walk your talk.
Why do we need a relationship? The three laws of successful relationships. The real meaning of soul mates.
Find the right style of meditation for you. How to stay centered and connected. Learn to understand the energy of chakras.
How to answer the call. Understand the dark night of the soul. Develop magnetism v manipulation.
7 ways to maintain your Spiritual Fitness. How to value and conserve your energy. Learn to develop everyday sacredness.
Why do I need this class?
Spiritual Fitness helps us find peace and sustenance in our fast-track world. When you’re spiritually fit, you live more consciously. You feel much more empowered, grounded, clear and compassionate. It’s an attitude that enables you to make better sense of your life. It softens your heart and soothes your mind and it allows you to connect with others from a place of deeper understanding.
Meeting our inner need to be spiritually attuned and aligned is an essential part of our happiness and fulfilment. We all need something to believe in. We all want to feel we are loved. We all seek to find a greater purpose to our lives. We all want to feel tenderness and hope and feel able to trust again. When you’re spiritually connected, you can experience improved relationships, a sense of direction and hope, enhanced creativity, deep inner peace and real enjoyment of your life. And while of course it doesn’t eradicate all your problems, it means you get a better class of problem!
Class Details:
This is an eight week class. It will start on January 5 and continue through February 23.
Class will begin at 6:30pm – 9pm on Thursday nights.
Tuition for the class is $160 if prepaid by Week 2. Or $25 per class. The textbook will be available at services prior to class – since there is a reading assignment before Week #1.
